A Collaborative Partnership Founded on Trust and Exceptional Quality
Reynolds has partnered with local Winston-Salem agency, Common Giant, since our inception in 2012. Our connection extends further back with our founder, who has collaborated with the Reynolds brand since 2007.
Reynolds’s collaboration with Common Giant has yielded some magnificent results over the years. As problem solvers, we marry strategic thinking with fresh creativity to bring solutions that excel and excite. Below are just some of the outstanding projects we’ve recently brought to life.

Reynolds 150th Anniversary
Facing a seemingly impossible deadline, Common Giant was tasked with creating a web experience to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Reynolds American. Due to the tight timeline, there was pressure to use existing development modules; however, these would not effectively address the user experience challenges. The Common Giant team developed a clear design solution that met the deadlines and enhanced the user experience. As of April 2025, the 150th Reynolds page continues to achieve high engagement metrics.
The final result featured a clean and elegant UI design that could be developed and updated with minimal friction, along with an engaging animated video header that our team produced entirely, from concept to execution.

Tobacco Harm Reduction Campaign Branding and Website
Common Giant was tasked with branding the first Tobacco Harm Reduction (THR) campaign. Our work included developing brand guidelines, creating social media graphics, and designing a dedicated website. We aimed to bridge the gap between science and corporate divisions, ensuring there were no connections to specific products or Reynolds’ brands.
After conducting strategy sessions with leadership, we identified the need for a visionary look that was both relatable and human-centered. We utilized RAI's color palette to enhance visual connection to RAI and promote transparency. We introduced cool neutrals to create a more open and airy feel.
A key feature of the homepage was the risk continuum, a graph that clearly illustrates a complex concept in an engaging manner. Additionally, the color codex guides users through an animated video about THR, which we produced entirely, from the script to the finished video.

The challenge of updating the Reynolds Operations website was to distinguish it from the corporate site while providing an efficient solution for searching tobacco product ingredients and giving it a modern look.
Through SEO research, Common Giant discovered that many visitors were accessing the Reynolds Operations site to search for career opportunities or tobacco products. To enhance the site's functionality, we reorganized it to clearly separate its various operations. Additionally, we created a direct link for those seeking career opportunities, guiding them to our corporate careers page.
